Captain's Log:

Stardate: 160210

Alert Status: Green

We are docked at Tranquility, and after observing and honoring the return of the USS Sheppard, we are now holding position as we await repairs and resupply.

Tactical are finally getting the new weapons they have wanted, and science is getting an updated sensor array. Both will be offline briefly, but it will be needed.

Meanwhile, I am taking a little time for myself, and working on a new holodeck program, complete with an old earth automobile to get operational.

Operations Department Log:

SIF Field Generator Maintenance

The past few days while the ship was in dock, the Operations Department conducted maintenance and testing on the field generators (both normal and back-up units) that provide the force fields for the ship's Structural Integrity Field system (SIF). In essence, the SIF strengthens the ship's structure to handle much higher loads than it could without the SIF.

Each of the SIF field generators consists of a cluster of graviton polarity sources feeding a pair of subspace field distortion amplifiers. Heat dissipation on each unit is handled by a pair of liquid helium coolant loops.

Most of the maintenance work for the SIF consists of routine servicing of the super conductive elements located in the graviton polarity sources. These super-conductive elements require servicing for every 1500 hours of operation.

After maintenance and calibration was completed, testing was used to verify full compliance with the ship's SIF specifications.

SUPPLY DAY! I worked with both Tranquility and Pinastri control to get what we needed before everything went to the Maxwell and Sheppard. We need supplies so badly, so this is awesome!

People are also drawing straws for shore leave...already?! WOW.

Uh oh...all I did was ask about an unauthorized shipment and people started getting attacked at random. An intruder boarded the ship through...the holodeck?

It turned out to be the Captain playing in an old-style roadster car....

"Computer, end recording."

In Service,

Lieutenant Commander LeighAnn Mantis
