| Born to Alistair Snowpaw and Margaret Bushnell on December 8th 2362. In London Bridge Hospital in London England on Earth. He was a chance conception as neither had expected nor wanted children. Worst yet was he was born with a birth defect, his eyes lacking both iris and pupils. Essentially born with atrophied eyes which made him blind. His mother Margaret being a member of Starfleet medical insisted that treatment begin to correct his vision shortly after he was born. Treatment consisted of one sessions of corrective surgery and a weekly injection of Retnox, which is heavily discouraged to be used on young children. She was successful in granting his eyes sight to white light like normal eyes and a nice bonus of being able to see somewhat in the dark. Though the side effect of Retnox at such a young age also influenced his genetic structure somewhat. His eyes now have an eerie fluorescent green glow to them as well as his hair colour turning blue. The procedure did grant him sight but made him abit of a genetic freak in the eyes of his peers. In school he was considered brilliant but isolated. He seldom talked with his classmates. He would regularly show up with bruises but he refused to talk about the cause of these.
A turning point in his life was the death of his mother at the hands of the Borg during the battle of Sector 001. Unfortunately the ship she was serving on was one of those destroyed before the arrival of the Enterprise. The only loving influence in his life was brutally taken from him. His father was a Starfleet Marine and he brought that world of violence home with him. A Veteran of the Klingon and Dominion wars, Alistair is known to be overly strict and quick to anger and violence. Being unable to adjust to peace at the end of the two wars and wanting his son to follow in his footstep. Often beating his son and inciting as much hate as he could. The beatings so severe that at times they would break Adune’s bones. Adune suddenly disappeared around the time that Alistair was found with part of his vertebrae destroyed by phaser fire. Essentially being forced to retire and retroactively promoted to Major. It is suspected that Adune was the culprit however Alistair has refused to press charges and claims that it was an accident. Reports of Adune Snowpaw’s activities over the next two years are few and little is known. There was a report of him boarding a Klingon cargo freighter to escape earth. Not much is known from that time until his enrolment at the Academy. | |||||
