The Fleet Strategist is a position within Strategic Operations responsible for monitoring and reporting changes in the UFS Fleets status. Required to discourse with the UFS Fleet on a regular basis, they will receive updates and report them to UFS Fleet Command. Some examples of duties for this officer include receiving status updates from all elements of Fleets 1-5, and sharing relevant information as prudent. This position allows leeway to assume the role and mark status and progress of all ships and stations both through the receipt of reports or through writing reports as the NPC CO. This individual is appointed to their position exclusively by the authority of the Chief of UF Starfleet Operations.

A Fleet Strategist will generate and relay the commands and orders from UFS Fleet Command to the representatives of the Command branch aboard the ships and stations within the fleet, based on current fleet deployments, requirements and tactical initiative.
