General

The role of the Honor Guard is to represent the general UFS membership at UFS events.

1. Honor Guard (HG) and/or Color Guard (CG) will participate at the following general UFS related events:

  • Promotion Ceremonies (HG)
  • Memorials/Funerals (HG/Piper)
  • UFS formal banquets (HG/CG) - Walk in ceremony available
  • Other events as requested (HG)

2. The HG and/or CG will also participate in the following UFS Diplomatic Events held at UFS and off sim (at request of Diplomatic Corps):

  • Treaty negotiations (HG)
  • Receptions (HG/CG) - Walk in ceremony available
  • Treaty Signings (HG/CG) - Walk in ceremony available
  • Diplomatic Formal Balls (HG/CG) - Walk in ceremony available


An Honor Guard Photographer will provide approxmiately 10 photos of UFS and Diplomatic events for distribution to the Communications Division, Diplomats, Promotees, Families (at Memorials/Funerals), etc.

3. The Honor Guard is also available on request to stand for UFS member weddings. (HG). The event must be formal. No photographs will be provided.

4. On request of the Diplomatic Corps, a uniformed member of the Honor Guard will conduct a VIP tour of UFS facilities for Diplomats, Ambassadors, or their representatives.
