Planetary Strategist

The Planetary Strategist is a position within Strategic Operations responsible for tracking and plotting planetary or spacial discoveries. Required to discourse with the UFS Fleet on a regular basis they will report any new planets or anomalies to UFS Fleet Command. Some examples of duties for this officer include receiving information pertaining to new planets or anomalies, ensuring they are in the proper format. In addition the Planetary Strategist will be up to date on travel distances to locations of interest. This individual is appointed to their position exclusively by the authority of the Chief of UF Starfleet Operations.


  • Desire to update the starmap with realtime locations of newly discovered planets or systems
  • Knowledge of Astrometric terms
  • Regular contact with UFS Ships and Stations
  • Keen understanding of space travel and directions (Coreward, Rimward, Spinward, Trailing) for reports
  • Reporting to UFS Fleet Command
