Biography
Native to the beta race of Planet Trill, Praxislady enjoyed a studious childhood. She was named in honor of her father's Klingon association. Both parents were actively involved in Trill society. Father, Hanor Pren, a noted Trill scientist at the Trill Science Ministry, who researched may great astrological discoveries. Mother, Jobel Edoz, a Supervisor on the Trill Symbiosis Commission (TSC) was well known for her joining techniques. Both parents are joined. Prior to applying to the TSC as a Trill Host candidate, her parents unexpectedly arranged to send her to Klingon relatives on Earth to study at the Federation Academy. Her parents prompt decision to send her away before being accepted was not clear to her at the time. She discovered it was the result of their receiving Intelligence to a potentially deadly uprising lead by displaced unjoined Trills. As their only child, they were concerned enough to send her away from their Trill homeworld just in case the information was true. While only 300 candidates are selected for joining, all other unjoined Trill Hosts were displaced, had no vote and no longer were tolerant of their lack of prestigious positions and opportunities only given to joined Trill and Symbionts. She never looked back on her parents decision to protect her. She worked hard to achieve an assignment at the UFS Academy, and continues to expand her knowledge and research like that of her father, while serving as a Professor.
