Biography
Ravyn Stormchyld was born on June 21, 2363 to Eve and Vann Stormchyld. Eve was a medical instructor at Starfleet Academy in San Francisco. She went home for a short time to have their son and returned shortly after. Vann was a Starfleet Ship Engineer that worked on designing new weapon systems for many of the starships. As Ravyn grew up, he always stayed in the shadows of his father. Ravyn joined the crew of a cargo freighter, which dissappointed his father very much, and started learning the ins and outs of Engineering on the old systems. As they continued, he often thought that there was more out there than shipping cargo and evading enemy ships. Once on a cargo run to the delta quadrant he met several Officers from one of the Starfleet ships. He began talking to them about Starfleet, careful not to mention his father, and started wondering if he had made a mistake in not following his fathers footsteps. The Starfleet officers told him that there was a new Academy started in the Delta Quandrant and he went to signed up. While in the academy he was trying hard not to follow in his fathers footsteps, and took a miriade of classes from sciences to medical to marines at one point. He found that Engineering was just in his blood. He began Engineering courses and excelled as if he had found his calling.
