The Academy Superintendent is the Commanding Officer of the UFS Academy and heads the Office of the Superintendent of UF Starfleet Academy, making the final decisions regarding all Academy procedures and issues. He/She is responsible for maintaining the Branch Roster, also recommending promotions/awards. He/she completes and approves the Monthly Status Report (MSR) for the UF Starfleet Chief of Staff. The Superintendent represents the Academy at Senior Command level, and reports accordingly directly up the COC as one of the members of the Joint Chiefs. The Superintendent also approves new classes, maintains and updates the Curriculum server and also distributes the Server HUD.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Branch Commanders and College Deans to ensure that the Academy provides proper training and instruction to branch personnel
• Supervise Weekly Commencement of Academy Graduates
• Review and approve all new Academy course material
